Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy covers arthis.land and every page on it — the wall, the city rooms, the About and Download pages, the paper-model pages and the documentation. It explains what the site collects, what it does not, and who else receives data when you visit.
The short version
You do not need an account to look at the wall or walk through a room. The site does not ask for your name, your address or any payment detail. What it does involve is advertising served by Google, a database that holds the rooms other people have built, and — if you install it — a desktop application that runs entirely on your own computer.
Who runs this site
Arthis.Land is an independent project. There is no company behind it and no support department. Everything on it, including this policy, is written and maintained by one person, reachable at akversebusiness@gmail.com.
Advertising
This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. That involves the following:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site and may likewise use cookies to do so.
We do not choose which advertisements appear, we do not control their content, and we do not receive any personal information about you from advertisers. Google's own account of how it handles this data is published at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
The rooms, and the database behind them
The wall on the front page is built from a database of rooms. When you open the site, your browser reads that room data — titles, images and positions — from a hosted Supabase database. This is a read: your browser asks for the rooms and displays them. Making that request means the database host receives your IP address and browser details, as any web server does when you load anything from it.
If you publish a room of your own, whatever you put in it — its name, its images, its contents — is stored in that database and shown publicly on the wall to everyone who visits. Treat a room as a public post, not a private file. Do not put anything in a room that you would not want a stranger to see, and do not upload images you do not have the right to publish.
The Unity room viewer
Walking into a room loads a WebGL build that runs inside your browser. It renders the room on your own device. It does not ask for your camera, your microphone or your location, and this site's server configuration switches those browser permissions off for the whole domain.
The Land Room Maker download
Land Room Maker is a desktop application you download and install yourself. Once installed it runs on your computer, and the rooms you design are yours until you choose to publish one. Downloading the file means our host records the request, in the same way any download is recorded.
Information stored in your browser
The site keeps a small amount of state in your own browser's storage — things like where you had scrolled to on the wall and which room you last opened — so the page behaves sensibly when you come back. That data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
The waitlist form
The waitlist form on the About page currently does not send your email address anywhere. Submitting it shows a confirmation message in your browser and nothing else happens — no address is transmitted, stored or added to any list. This policy will be updated before that changes, and the form will say plainly where the address goes.
Analytics
No analytics service is installed on this site at present. If one is added, this section will name it and describe what it collects before it goes live.
Cookies
Cookies on this site fall into two groups: those set by Google and its advertising partners for advertising, described above, and the browser storage the site itself uses to remember where you were. You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. Doing so will not stop the wall or the rooms from working, though the site will forget your position.
What this site does not do
- It does not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.
- It does not require registration to browse, and it maintains no user accounts for browsing.
- It does not ask for payment details anywhere on this domain.
- It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Children
Arthis.Land is built for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information here, write to akversebusiness@gmail.com and it will be removed.
External links
Pages here link to other websites, and advertisements lead to destinations we do not operate. This policy covers arthis.land only. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any other site, and it is worth reading the policy of any site you reach from here.
Your choices and rights
You can clear the data stored in your browser at any time through your browser settings, opt out of personalised advertising using the links above, and use browser-level tracking protection if you prefer. Depending on where you live you may have further rights over data processed about you, including rights of access and erasure. To exercise them, or to ask a room of yours be taken down, email akversebusiness@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes to how data is used will be published here before they take effect.
